About this Nominee
Nature’s Lab School is Carmichael’s bilingual, nature-based school for children ages 2 through kindergarten, where children learn through play, exploration, relationships, and real-life experiences. In our Spanish immersion program, children spend their days learning outdoors, caring for chickens and small animals, creating hands-on STEAM projects, and developing strong language, social-emotional, and problem-solving skills. With very small groups, experienced educators, and a warm family-centered community, we personalize learning so every child feels known, capable, curious, and confident.
