About this Nominee
The Friends of the Carmichael Library collect donated books for resale at a nominal cost in the daily Library Lobby Sale and at special sales throughout the year. All proceeds from the sale of gently used books in good condition go directly to the Carmichael Library for the purchase of new books and materials for the Library. The Friends also support the Book First Program ensuring that first graders in eligible public schools in Carmichael and across Sacramento receive new books of their own.
